Lines revealing our current life style

I donno who has written these lines....but I am sure he/she might have written them with dampen eyes.....

Har khushi Hai Logon Ke Daman Mein,
Par Ek Hansi Ke Liye Waqt Nahi.
Din Raat Daudti Duniya Mein,
Zindagi Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Maa Ki Loree Ka Ehsaas To Hai,
Par Maa Ko Maa Kehne Ka Waqt Nahi.
Saare Rishton Ko To Hum Maar Chuke,
Ab Unhe Dafnane Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Saare Naam Mobile Mein Hain,
Par Dosti Ke Lye Waqt Nahi.
Gairon Ki Kya Baat Karen,
Jab Apno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Aankhon Me Hai Neend Badee,
Par Sone Ka Waqt Nahi.
Dil Hai Ghamon Se Bhara Hua,
Par Rone Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Paison ki Daud Me Aise Daude,
Ki Thakne ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.
Paraye Ehsason Ki Kya Kadr Karein,
Jab Apane Sapno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Tu Hi Bata E Zindagi,
Iss Zindagi Ka Kya Hoga,
Ki Har Pal Marne Walon Ko,
Jeene Ke Liye Bhi Waqt Nahi.......

"Percentage"

I have started realising how this magic mathematical term plays different roles in everyone's life.....right from our birth to death..infact many times this term relates to us much before our existence!!.....
Many of our well-wishers might have told our pregnant mother before giving birth to us about our gender in percentage!! You might have heard your granny telling someone that "this time 100% you'll be blessed with baby-boy or baby-girl".....you need
not be expert in mathematics to use this term.....its simple and common!!
This term will not leave you alone..be it your education, your job, business, finance, stock, your age, your performance and your death....everywhere it lays its icy hands!!
During our education, this term is like mantra for us and our parents.....we dream of getting good percentage(I am so bad in scoring marks that even in dreams,I dont get 100%)......our parents set some range of percentage for our needs.... "for cycle, you have to score above 80%, for bike, above 90%".....;-)....this percentage decides how people react with you....if you are a good scorer, you get good percentage of respect and vice-versa!!
This term also decides your higher education..the stream you get in, the college you get!!
Then comes the job-hunt phase, you have more opportunities if you have good percentage..In your job, this number starts stealing your sleep during appraisal time....you start calculating your CTC,take-home(common IT terms ;-0) with different hike percentages!! This term decides your career....whether to
jump to next company or stay-back!!
oooooo....I think I am forgetting to mention its role in the most important fact of everyone's life called "marriage"....If your luck percentage is good, you'll get your dream girl/boy..if its 100%(ideal case!!),you'll lead the happiest life!! but,do ideal things really exist in life?? ;-) I was impressed by a T-shirt print which I read after marriage(it was too late.....)-- "10% of people are happier, rest
are married" ......just kidding.....in this case my percentage is good!
Then comes "percentage of bank interest".......my God!! Donno about spouse, but this percentage is a real life partner in everyone's life!......then children, their education,pension.....the percentage cycle continues.......

One fine(!!!!!) day, while we are in our death bed counting our last days......we hear doctor expressing his helplessness to our near-ones in percentage.....saying "only 10% hopes, rest is in Almighty's hands!!"....and then the
hope percentage graph starts dipping.....the '1' in 100% disappears.....making our existence 00%....totally void !!
Wish you all 100% success....

From "Pai" bus to British Airways

My life is known for sudden changes!! Its like casino wheel-who knows on which number I may win the jackpot!!
Things happen to me without a small clue also..From my exam results to job opportunity, everything happened against my predictions.....Now I have realised,I am not so good in predictions ;-)
And funny thing is....good things happen to me at a very slow pace ;-( ....Late but the best..I am satisfied....Thank God!!..Thanks for the blessings and prayers of all around me.I owe my existence to them.
Though I always dreamt of flying high,I had almost lost that hope in my recent job profile. With all my best performance that I could render, several rounds of talks with my manager(Jojee Thomas C),the opportunity was just out of my reach..I started suspecting my ability. ;-(

Every cloud has a silver lining: (first I thought of using the phrase "Every Dog Has Its Day"..then thought, let me not go to that extent ;-) )--One fine day,I got a call from my manager on my mobile..it was sunday..I thought of not receiving the call because I felt he was calling me for some urgent work in the office!! Whatz wrong in thinking so? Who wants to work during
week-ends? But I respect my manager,he is one of the best persons I have ever met in my life.I won't ignore him for any reason..be its professional or personal....I have got to learn lot of things from him!!He is the perfect manager!!So I received his call.."where do you want to go, US or UK?" was his first sentence. I was so amazed that I forgot that I was on phone..he knocked me understanding my silence and said its true and I had both the opportunities....I
took a deep breath of dream-came-true and said anything was OK. I was in a condition of "beggars are not choosers"..I was ready to go to Pakistan also ;-)....I was not particular of any country,I just wanted to fly!!
On 9th Jan,my dream came true.I flew to London in British Airways. It was such a pleasant experience! I was feeling on top of the world!!....I think I was....around 40000ft above ground level ;-)
Since then, though I am getting regular chances to fly,I still love the good old buses that take me to my hometown..to my sweet home!! There is no way better than the one that leads to sweet home.
PS: "Pai" bus is the private travel agency that runs buses between Bangalore and Belgaum(my home town).

LBW-Life Before Wicket!!

For Indians, cricket is not just another game..its their part of life. You can find lot of instances where cricket has affected the lifestyle of most of the people.
For an average Indian,if you give an option between his daily bread and cricket, most of them go for cricket without a second thought..that is the extent of cricket in India!!
Talking about cricket in India without mentioning arch-rival Pakistan is like narrating Mahabharat without Kauravas!! If there is a match being played between India and Pakistan..you can feel that cricket fever in every house, corner, street, village, cities of India. No one is spared..this game of pride has its bloody hands on every person of both the countries!! It knows no gender,no caste.Everyone is in its trap!!
Its a game of heart-beats..for most of the die-hard cricket fans, the scoreboard is like angiograph..the graph fluctuation is directly proportional to the number of balls left!! Balls left Vs Required runs is like pawn movement in snake-ladder game..you never know who will hit a six or who will get a wicket..they do not lose the hope till the last ball of the game, till the last drop of the rain!!
My request to every fan of this wonderful game: Its just another game..be sportive..Cricketers get their bread even if they win the game or not..it is us who are wasting our days by discussing the time-killer game called cricket!! There is always another world cup..so go back to work..there is life beyond cricket..dont lose your life before wicket!!
